We Made Out After Reading Black Erotica His Books!!!!!!!!!?
O.k. basically I have been talking to an old boyfriend from high school for a few weeks now. We really hit it off well. We are feeling each other and spend hours talking on the phone when we talk at least 4x's a week. Well Sunday night we talked about Zane (Black Erotica) and he read me one of the stories over the phone. Of course it got me excited so, I invited him to the house the next evening and we just fooled around. No sex, but pretty heavy. I wanted him to come back over last night and left a message on his phone explaing that, but he never returned my phone call. I know he was home because he had his daughter. I have told him I want him. He wants to take things slow, because he has been hurt before with an rekindled an old flame once. His actions says he is interested but he waits for me to initiate so much. I also know he dates other people but he said nothing serious. What shoudl I do. Did we go to far? He is too old for this. But I think he has been wounded.
If this is what you want than I would suggest you take it slow. Most men place a shield around themselves when they have been hurt. Just go with the flow and see what happens, eventually his shield will come down.
Does anyone know the name of this black novel (erotica)?
Its about a girl who calls herself sheisty and the book starts off with her being released from jail. Apparently in the previous book her sister(who looks alot like her) stole her man and ratted her out. Basically now Sheisty cuts/ dyes her hair like her sister and roams the city passing off as her. She owns a few clothing stores and at one point in the book runs into this crazy guy with cool blue cologne....I really can't remember the name of this book...please help
Money Over Men by Nichelle Walker
She was left to die in jail, her jewels, clothes and cars where stripped away from her. She was betrayed and set up by the only family she had. When the world turned their back on her she became Shiesty. Emerald is coming home sooner than everyone thinks and the only thing on her mind is payback. Emerald killed the good girl she had in her and quickly became cold hearted and ruthless. Her new personality Shiesty wasn't letting anyone run over her or hurt her again. But when tragedy strikes and a promise to her grandmother sets Shiesty plans back. Emerald tries to forgive and forget her past and move on with her life. But sometimes forgiving isn't always that easy. With Emerald battling her alter ego Shiesty, she takes everyone on a emotional roller coaster that they will never forget. Who will win the fight between doing what's right or getting even?
Black people or Library goers have you noticed that the AA section in the Library is a bunch of erotica?
There's no sun on the west coast so I decided to go to the Library for the first day of spring break. Yay... When I went to the African American section of the library all a bunch of romance novels.
They had blacks with blacks, blacks with whites, blacks with latinos, blacks with asians. :/

And the weirdest thing was that I was the only black person in the aisle. 0_0

I've noticed this in some Barnes & Nobles, So I am I the only one who's noticed this or not?
Dang, I thought I was the only one! Haha, it's crazy because my friend and I were the only black people in that aisle full of white people! And these two white men were deeply into this book that was titled "Momma's Baby, Daddy's Maybe" they looked like they were sitting there for a long time because they were like through half the book! But hey, atleast they're reading right?
Know any erotica books with a great storyline?
I'm looking for a sexy read with a great storyline. I love paranormal fiction. I love JR Ward, Emma Holly, and Jaid Black. I'm looking for something similar to Jaid Black's Viking Series, I love big, strong, alpha men with good hearts. I'm open to many suggestions. Thanks!
Well I'm not too familiar with erotica, but I heard Lady Chatterley's Lover is a really good, classic read. I do recommend Little Birds by Anais Nin though. They're all short stories, but all are very good, a little twisted and very kinky!
Who here watches or has seen movies with Laura Gemser aka "Black Emanuelle"?
With films like "Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals", Emanuelle Around the World" and even "Emanuelle in America", Laura Gemser was one of the most beautiful women in erotica... Thoughts?
I've seen her only in mainstream films, including "Love Is Forever", in which she co-starred as Moira Chen with Michael Landon. There was a big turmoil when news surfaced about the movies she had been in prior to this. She has done "legit" films, and she truly is a beautiful woman. She even has a scene with Orson Welles in "Voyage of the Damned"! I know because she's in a picture with him in "Screen World" for that movie year.

While compiling filmographies of less-known actors and actresses for an ongoing writing project, I came across her name(s). So, she's one of more than 2,500 actors and actresses I have in my book-to-be.
How come all books by black authors are automatically labeled as "urban" fiction?
I find this offensive and inaccurate. Why is urban fiction deemed an automatic synonym for any book by a black author or with mostly black characters? Urban fiction is usually a subsection of black- and sometimes even Latino- fiction and they are books that contain characters from large cities and revolve around a theme of poverty, drugs, and inner city life. But this is not where black books start or end.

I think those urban fiction themes are remarkably different from plots involving southern slavery, segregation or other black books that involve characters in a non inner city, non poverty capacity.

Once I went into a library in a nearby mostly black neighborhood and saw a sectio labeled "urban fiction" and in that section was a book entitled "The Known World". This particular book takes place in 1850s Virginia and is about a free black man who owned slaves. Why is that considered urban fiction???

And why is black literature defined by Zane (erotica) or other books that focus on a drug culture? Every Barnes and Noble has a table like this. How come people forget the works by authors like Toni Morrison, Alice Walker, Richard Wright, James Baldwin, Lalita Tademy, and many others. Does anyone else notice this?
I'm a writer myself and part of my fear is that just because i'm black my work will automatically get thrown into the black urban section. Not that there's anything wrong with black urban but i'd rather be in the Stephen King section if I'm writing horror, in the Harry Potter section if I'm writing guy's books, or the Twilight section if I'm writing teen fantasy/romance. Don't just throw me in the black section because I'm black, regardless of the subject matter of my work (or just because my protagonist may be black).
Please help me find this book by Black, male author think?
(Black male author of urban and erotica books)All I remember it was family living a pretty good life until the husband was sleeping on the couch all the time, he started cheating, then accidentally got some head from his best friends Husband(YEs husband), and he is in love with his best friend. he thought he was getting it from her. then he meets this wild girls he gets sprung over, cheats with her, then she turns out to be a freakin psycho. the wife is pregnant then he still messing with the crazy chick. the wife is going through hell knowing something is up and getting strange emails, now when the ish hits the fan the crazy chick tries to kill the wife, it comes out that the husband has a whole other family with the stripper he boned at the bachelor party, and........i hope someone knows what book this is!!!
By reputation I'd guess an E. Lynn Harris book. I haven't read them, but he's a black gay man who wrote exactly the sort of best sellers list novels you're describing.
Looking For a Manga/Anime Erotica Art Book?
I am looking for a book I saw a few years ago in a Borders book store.

I was looking through the "how to draw" anime and manga section for books for my step son for xmas. They had one that I thought was lovely but it was not appropriate for a "guy".

He is now an adult and very much into (and good at) drawing anime, especially the girls.

I would like to get this book for him this xmas but am having trouble finding it. I thought it might ring a bell for someone out here and they would have a title or author so I could track it down.

The book was either in or very near the art section. I think it might have been just an "art" book. It's subject was specifically manga/anime erotica. The book was a hard back. I seem to recall it having a white or lght colored cover. It was a coffee table book size .... about nine inches square and maybe two or three inches thick.

It was a lovely art book with a TON of color pieces as well as some black and white sketches. Very "grown up" looking for a serious artist type of work, not the comic book looking stuff (not that there is anything wrong with that).

I believe the price, about two years ago, was around $80. It was very nice quality and very expensive looking.

If you know of this book or a book similar to it, please share a title or author.

For black people - would you be upset if you saw some white teenagers giggling at a nude black woman photo?
Now then, before you elect to delete the question, please hear me out. The question needs to be buttressed by more information that can't be included in the header. So then, imagine that you see a group of white teenagers looking at a nude black woman in a Playboy-type magazine (please, no comments specifically about Playboy since this is not the issue). These teenagers are giggling and making fun of the black woman. How would you feel? Now then, I already know that the first response will be "but if I saw a group of black teenagers doing this, I would also be angry". Very well then, let's dissect it further. What if the group of black teenagers were saying the exact same things that the white teenagers were, would you be more angry at the black teenagers or the white ones? This question is not meant to offend and I am not taking a stand on pornography/erotica. This is a question about racial tensions in the USA. I think it is significant because it goes to the heart of our psyche when it comes to racial issues in the USA. It is certainly something that we don't want to talk about, but the only way we can solve the problem of racial tension in the USA is if we talk honestly about it. I, for one, would be more upset if I saw a group of black teenagers giggling and making fun of a nude white female than I would be if the group were white and saying the exact same things. I would feel that this would be an insult to my own group. I would think that the white woman who posed for the picture put herself in a very vulnerable position by allowing other ethnic groups to make fun of her ethniticy. I think that this is also how black people feel, but even more so since blacks are a minority in the USA. For a black woman to pose nude would be putting her in an even more vulnerable position in which she is open to ridicule, only because there are more white people. For this reason, I would suspect that black women are less likely to do such things in the USA. I think that having these feelings are natural and nothing to be ashamed of. We need to discuss them honestly in order to understand each other better.
Back in grade school they use to have National Geographic magazines and all the little white boys would be looking at the naked African women. They weren't nearly as hot as Playboy but I think when a group of boys look at a naked magazine together it's awkward for them so they laugh because they can't get off with the others watching. I could care less unless I know that woman personally.
